Summer Joy and I had plans to do a quick overnighter up in the Panamints on Friday night during MLK weekend. We had family activities scheduled for Sunday So, unfortunatly, we could not afford more time to enjoy the picture perfect weather out in the Panamint Valley.

As I mentioned, we were going to camp up in the mountains, but knowing that my Summer Joy was not really looking forward to "boon-docking" I decided to surprise her with a room at Panamint Spring Resort where my Buddies AndyR and B-Spec were staying for the weekend.

We arrived late Friday afternoon and just loitered around PSR until dinner and then hit the sack in the early evening.

Saturday morning found us loading up the FJ Cruiser and heading out to Ballarat to meet up with Rubiblue and Dezdan for a day of Cruising through the Panamint Mountains.

Late afternoon found us back at Ballarat where we said our good-bys and Summer and I hit the road back home.

Yes, Another way too short trip...But hey, a short trip is better than no trip at all...
